OLD BUSINESS Another discussion of how to get additional new members was held. Some possibilities brought up were: 1) possibly a poster for the pancake breakfast stating what AFF does, (after checking with the Men’s club); 2) have a September job fair, which hasn’t been held in 10+ years, for all parish commissions/organizations; 3) a May pulpit announcement regarding AFF; 4) send a letter to past members inquiring if they would be interested in serving again or if they know of anyone who might be interested; 5) in May make posters for the doors of church. Volunteers to make the pulpit announcement and make the posters for the church and/or the pancake breakfast will be needed. Caryl will ask Larry Appleman is he is interested in being a member.

The possibility of the parish celebrating June 29th, the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, as our church’s feast day was discussed. Fr. Don felt PPC should chair this event and have volunteers from all commissions participating. Michelle will ask Joe McCabe to add this item for discussion at the next PPC meeting. AFF thought it would be nice to serve cake and have other activities for parishioners to participate in.
Vacation bible school is seeking a June date this year. Ron will discuss this with Fr. Don before attending the joint church meeting regarding this subject.
